Native Songbird Care & Conservation
Saving Native Songbirds One Bird at a Time.

If you have found a bird, please review the information on the 'I found a bird' page and call us for assistance.

If you have found an injured or orphaned bird, it is imperative that the bird be delivered to a licensed rehabilitation center as soon as possible.  A delay in doing so can greatly reduce the birds chances for successful recovery and release back to the wild.

And please remember, it is illegal to keep a native bird, even if you intend to release it.

If you have found a bird,
please call us at: (707) 484-6502

During the winter months, we are open by appointment only.  Please call us to let us know you have a bird that needs medical attention.

May through August, we are open to receive birds from 9 am to 7 pm, seven days a week.  Please call us first to let us know you're on the way.

Please note:  We do not accept non-native species, such as House Sparrow, pigeon and European Starling.  We also do not accept doves or corvid species; including Western Scrub Jay, Stellar Jay, American Crow and Raven.  If you need help with any of these species, please call us and we will provide you with a referral.
